Welcome to the home of the Joint Task Force 323

Virtual Combat Aviation Group in DCS

Our objective is to plan and execute missions in a coordinated and systematic manner, incorporating selected real-world procedures adapted to align with the specific constraints and requirements of DCS. While these procedures may differ from those employed in real-world operations or by other groups, they are intentionally designed to meet our operational needs and will not be altered unless a clear error is identified.

From a roleplay perspective, JTF 323 is an independent aviation unit operating under the covert support of the United States and NATO member states. The unit is deployed in conflicts where direct involvement by these nations is politically or strategically unfeasible, enabling discreet yet effective operational engagement.

Who we are

JTF-323 is a community of military aviation enthusiasts from across the globe. While our primary player base is located in the United Kingdom and Europe, we also maintain committed members in Australia and South Africa. We foster a relaxed and social atmosphere outside of operations; however, once operations commence, we maintain a disciplined and professional approach consistent with our semi-milsim standard of 6/10 realism.

All operations are formally planned, executed, and debriefed, with post-mission analysis conducted using Tacview to ensure continuous improvement and operational accountability. Our primary operational framework consists of deployments. Extended campaign environments built around a structured narrative and persistent operational objectives. These deployments typically last a minimum of three months and also serve as the foundation for all unit training activities within the same theatre.

Our pilots are proficient, motivated, and committed to continuous development while upholding JTF-323 operational standards. All pilots are required to meet the minimum proficiency requirements defined in the Training Readiness Matrix (TRM), including the completion and ongoing maintenance of Initial Qualification Training (IQT) to ensure consistent capability and mission readiness across the unit.

What we can offer

JTF-323 provides a stable and structured operational environment supported by a 24/7 dedicated server, hosting the current deployment and a persistent training mission. This allows members to conduct self-directed training, familiarization, and proficiency flights at any time outside of scheduled operations.

We maintain a comprehensive library of non-classified, publicly available training materials, curated and standardized to support pilot development in alignment with JTF-323 procedures and operational doctrine.

Our community operates within a clear and structured organizational framework, ensuring consistency in operations, training, and command relationships while maintaining a professional and respectful environment.

Members benefit from regularly scheduled training sessions and combat sorties, including weekly training opportunities and organized combat operations conducted on a biweekly basis as part of our ongoing deployment campaigns.
